To provide the representation of Port of Ambarlı in the public platform and to ensure that all studies are implemented which are requested by the public from the terminals, to cover the needs of public bodies and organizations located in Port of Ambarlı within the scope of the regulations,

Since Port of Ambarlı has a feature of being entirely a private port, needs of public administration required by the Law are supplied by our company in the shortest possible time and in the best manner. Providing working offices for Ambarli Port Authority, Customs and Customs Enforcement Directorates, Marine Police, Port Sanitary, Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Gendarmerie, covering demands and needs arising from the Law are implemented by our company on behalf of the terminals which are Altaş' partners and acting in Port of Ambarlı. In addition to this, Public bodies and organizations can be able to find a single addressee according to the points envisaged by the regulations and on the subjects relating to the entire port of Ambarli, Furthermore, Altaş, providing general coordination between terminals, again covers the public demands through a single centre on behalf of terminals. Especially, all operations requested by the Law are performed by our company without having any need to get 6 Terminals in Port of Ambarlı implementing such operations separately.

Security and Management of Common Areas,

The security of common areas, covering the needs of 7 different terminals and port users existing in Port of Ambarlı., such as; transportation, temporary vehicle waiting point, taking vehicles to terminals regularly, are ensured by our company at the highest level within the meaning of the Law numbered 5188. In this context, vehicle traffic in areas is conducted by our security organization. Altaş provides controlled and regular entrance and exit for vehicles, arriving to and departing from terminals with its security organization starting from the main entrance of Port of Ambarlı and secures that terminals carrying out their operational activities in an affective manner and without delay.

Compatibility of container twistlock systems of vehicles entering to and departing from Port of Ambarlı is controlled by Altaş Security organization; any vehicles which have inadequate twistlock system are not accepted to our port. Also, the plates of vehicles carrying container should be written on their coupes as standard and its control is again performed by our company's security organization. Furthermore, controls of vehicles' dispatch list are implemented by Altaş Security Personnel (Guards).

To provide the coordination between terminals and to solve common problems.

The cooperation among existing terminals in Port of Ambarlı, determining the joint-action style is one of the main duties of our company. Joint-action towards regulations or similar sanctions and planning of cost-effective solutions and executing them are performed by our company. Especially, resolving common problems, planning and providing necessary cooperation are realized by our company.

Security activities as RSO (Recognized Security Organization) within the scope of ISPS code,

The physical security structures of the terminals in Port of Ambarlı are acting under own terms of each terminal within the scope of the Law number 5188. ALTAŞ which determines the security organization structure of terminals is the security organization of Port of Ambarlı authorized by the Undersecretary of Naval within the scope of ISPS code. The responsibility of the execution of Port facility security plans prepared within the scope of ISPS code lies with terminal security organizations. Requirements of Port facility security plans the so called security manual are executed in line with the suggestions of the terminals by a total of 6 separate port facility security officers authorised by the Undersecretariat of Maritime Affairs who are the payroll staff of the terminals. Accordingly, the terminal security organizations provide the security of terminal entry gates, quay areas, handling operations, container cargo stations, cargo storage areas, closed warehouses, administrative buildings, which are considered as important buildings within terminal areas in general and in addition to that provide the traffic order within the terminal and upon request of the ships additional security service towards the ship within the scope of ISPS code. Although ISPS code tries to establish standardization for the security structure of the ports, 100 % the security is not feasible. Whereas the security organization is focused on a certain area another area can be attacked. Therefore, the security of common areas and building in Port of Ambarlı is provided by Altaş Security Organization whereas the security services in terminal areas and buildings starting from terminal entrances are provided by terminal security organizations based on ISPS code foresights as well as other fundamental security principles. In addition to all these applications within the understanding of common security service for the sea side security of the port facility to be provided within the scope of ISPS code and the prevention of unlicensed and unauthorised approaches from the sea side, ALTAŞ protection and Security Organization provides sea patrol service in coordination with Harbour Master and Ambarlı Customs Enforcement Directorate. Due to this multi-structural nature of the security system of Ambarli Port and because the transportation to terminals is made over common areas, there is a continuous coordination among terminals security organization and ALTAŞ Security Organization. Thanks to this coordination, the number of the vehicles entering to terminals via road can be determined and the traffic order on the development road can be established and besides uniformity in ISPS code applications of the terminals can be reached.

Electronic surveillance and recording of pedestrian and vehicle entries to the terminals in Port of Ambarlı,

Although, the security of the entries to the terminal areas is provided by the Terminal Security Organizations within the scope of the Directive on the Entrance Cards to Istanbul Sea Ports which came into force on 13.10.2005, ALTAŞ. information processing department assigned as card office of Istanbul Ports Civilian Administration Authority is evaluating the applications of Port of Ambarlı users for terminal entrance cards in order to operate the “Electronic Entrance and Plate Reading System” established by itself and used by terminal security organizations, carries out the security investigation of applicants and continues its investments for the most effective operation for the system.

Activities within the scope of EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) Report,

For the sake of Environment Protective Action Style stated in Environmental Impact and Assessment Report of Port of Ambarlı, our company and terminals are held responsible by the Ministry of Environment and necessary audits and inspections are made in this regard and regular reports are delivered to Environment Provincial Directorate. ALTAŞ meticulously executing all operations foreseen within the scope of authorised EIA Report of Port of Ambarlı is continuing its activities with an environment sensitive operation understanding.

Responsibilities covered by Emergency Response Plan,

Our company has prepared an emergency situation plan towards urgent situations to occur in the common areas of Port of Ambarlı. and situations to occur in terminal areas of which the elimination goes beyond the capabilities of the terminal where equipment and personnel are made available 7/24 within the scope of this plan.

Development of joint plans and projects, construction of joint infrastructure,

It is another duty of our company to prepare the development plans of Port of Ambarlı and its revisions and to propose them to and conclude with related public entities and institutions, develop projects to present a benefit for the entire Port of Ambarlı, to follow up and finance the infrastructure construction works towards such projects. Especially all projects where individual execution by the terminals is not effective, urgent measure plans, security plans, security assessments and plans in accordance with ISPS code, infrastructure works required to be done in common areas, roads, canals, illumination, CCTV system etc., are performed by our company. Our company organizes the planning and applications of vehicle parking lots required in Port of Ambarlı.

Duties required and charged by the General Directorate of Disaster Affairs on the geologic and geotechnical subjects,

By the reason of geologic position of the region, the General Directorate of Disaster Affairs approved the Geologic and Geotechnical Engineering Report of Port of Ambarlı as a result of the studies of which it had been carried out in the region. One of the conditions of approval of this approved report is that our company has been authorized by the General Directorate of Disaster Affairs in order to perform the necessary researches, reporting and measurement studies on geologic subjects in the region. In this context, the region is continuously monitored with the sensitive land measurement and reporting studies implemented together with Istanbul Technical University (İ.T.Ü) for 9 years, and also all reports and results of geologic reports prepared for each parcel and project are submitted to the General Directorate of Disaster Affairs with regular reports through getting them also approved by Istanbul Technical University. The sensitive land measurement studies in the region are realized with GPS measurement network, inclinometer, piezometer and settlement colons. The measurement periods are reported as monthly, quarterly and annually.

The maintenance of common areas, cleaning of the port and collection of domestic solid wastes,

Any and all kind of domestic wastes occurring in Port of Ambarlı are continuously collected by our company's cleaning and refuse collection vehicles and disposed of the rubbish dumps. The common areas of Port of Ambarlı and terminals are also cleaned in a regular and continuous manner by the Vacuum Sweeping Vehicle of our company. The maintenance and repair works of roads and infrastructure, the works of pouring concrete and asphalt, environmental arrangements and open-space works especially on the main road entrance and route are among the activities of our company.
